Functionality

TRAKSTAR TVS © places an inaudible “watermark” within the audio portion of A/V content to affix ID and to enable forensic tracking.

Inaudibility

Tested and approved by Disney (for the Television Programmers Assn of Latin America). Since 2000, A variant of this watermarking has been in service 24/7 within the Latin American feeds of cable networks operated by Fox, Disney , USA , MGM and The Weather Channel. In 2003, a developmental version of the current system was reviewed at Pacific Ocean Post for its suitability for use in "movie sound" and by Sonic Foundry for Internet VoD.

Payload Adjustable to 52 bits

Data frames are fully adjustable min 4.5 sec. – 5 min+ depending upon the specific application

“Remarkability”

Optional re-marking capability. An additional or replacement rmark may be applied to content without audible degradation.

Extreme Robustness

Unaffected by repeated analog re-conversion. TVS can be reliably detected from audio content capture via camcorder or microphone. Resistance to Collusion Attack

TRAKSTAR TVS © effectively resists collusion attack. (the “layering” of the same content with different watermarks with the aim of destroying all of the watermarks originally present.

Resistance to Strip Attack

A successful strip attack against TRAKSTAR TVS © requires that the fidelity of the source audio be profoundly degraded .

Compatibility

TRAKSTAR TVS © is compatible with all audio and video watermarks, “wave-form” matching ("hashing"/fingerprint) and DRM systems.
